Bockfest Beefsteak Club Dinner

Saturday, January 26, 2013 6PM - SOLD OUT

For the Bockfest Beefsteak Club Dinner, the historic malt room in the new Christian Moerlein production brewery is transformed into a private dinner club. Guests will watch artist Jim Effler unveil the 2013 Bockfest oil painting; and be the first to fill their glasses with this year’s Moerlein Emancipator Doppelbock, ceremoniously tapped by Christian Moerlein Brewing Company President, Greg Hardman. Attendees will be invited to tour the nineteenth century lagering cellars under the historic brewery, as well as the brand-new Christian Moerlein production brewery -- the facility that now allows Moerlein to be brewed and bottled in Over-the-Rhine again for the first time in over 94 years. A motley band of hardcore Bockfest fans took to the streets to parade through the snow, and hunkered down at Bockfest Hall to enjoy their delicious Bock beer. Unfortunately, everyone else was not so lucky and couldn't make it to Over-the-Rhine. (more...)
